Reflection; What Tyler is saying is that he does hard work to be good at  basketball and to be a Mormon church missionary. He would always practice with his dad during the summer so he can be much better at basketball. He join the BYU team he was so good at it but after he wanted to stop playing to join the mormon church missionary.
