The attacks killed almost 3,000 people and caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure damage. Within hours of the September 11, 2001 attacks, millions of people across the world felt compelled to respond to the crisis. Volunteers and trained professionals from near and far rused to help in the rescue and recovery efforts.

The Twin Towers were widely considered to be symbols of America's power and influence. The Pentagon is the headquarters of the US Department of Defense. Both 110-floor World Trade Center towers subsequently collapsed and substantial damage was caused to one wing of
the Pentagon. Numerous other buildings at the world trade center site in lower
Manhattan were destroyed badly damage. The total loss of life on 9/11 was nearly 3,000, including the 19 hijackers. It was the worst loss of life due to a terrorist
incident on US soil.

When i founded out  about this i was really shocked, sad, upset, etc. When i was in elementary my teacher showed us a video how 9/11 happen when we were watching it i was literally crying i felt bad for the people that were there. I can imagine myself being there. i just couldn't believe it happened. And by that time i didn't knew about the terrorist. I just feel bad for those who died R.I.P  9/11 2001
