Duties and Responsibilities: Ear, nose and throat specialists, are known as otolaryngology or ENT specialists, are medical doctors responsible for medical treatment. 

Salary: The average salary is about $205,000

Education: At least 5 years of surgical residency. This comprise a one year course in general surgery and a four year course in otolaryngology. Most their medical education with a bachelor of science degree, but those with a bachelor degree of art are also accepted into some medical school programs.
